Service Events

Service events are the foundation of AGS’s mission to give back to the community. These range from park cleanups and food drives to neighborhood restoration and local outreach. Every project allows members to make a visible, positive impact while gaining volunteer experience.

Participation in service events earns 5 to 10 points, depending on the size and duration of the event. Members are required to sign in/out and may submit a brief reflection to earn full credit.

One notable example is the Baldwin Park Cleanup, where AGS volunteers collected litter, maintained trails, and helped preserve the park’s natural beauty. The event brought together over 20 members, showcasing AGS’s commitment to environmental service and teamwork.
